Shipping freight by rail from China to russia has always been the backbone of Russia's logistics system and are widely used to transport energy minerals and metals over long distances. In recent years, in order to improve transportation efficiency, Russian railway giant Russian Railways (RZD) has taken a number of measures to save transit time, such as launching door-to-door and just-in-time plans, and expanding the use of customs single windows, while continuously improving and providing faster shipping freight by rail from China to russia for container cargo.

3. Central Asia Rail Transport Route
Routes from Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Yiwu → Through Khorgos/Alashankou → Central Asia (Almaty, Karaganda, Kostanay in Kazakhstan; Tashkent in Uzbekistan; Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan).

1. Customer consultation and consignment book:
Customers consult the freight forwarder about transportation needs, submit cargo information and export requirements, and complete the consignment book (consignment book).
2. Booking and confirmation:
The freight forwarder selects the appropriate China-Europe train route and schedule based on the customer's consignment book information, books the space, and confirms the space, freight and other service details with the customer.
3. Domestic operations:
• Preparation: The customer prepares the goods and related information to ensure that the goods meet the export and transportation requirements.
• Pickup and transportation: The freight forwarder arranges a special vehicle to pick up the goods from the customer's warehouse or factory to the warehouse at the railway station to ensure a seamless journey.
• Warehousing and tallying: After the goods arrive at the warehouse, they will be inspected for warehousing and the outer packaging of the goods will be checked. If there is any damage, take photos and feedback to inform the customer in time, and make simple repairs.
• Packing and sealing: Pack according to the loading requirements of the China-Europe train, take photos as required, complete the sealing, and wait for the box to be delivered to the station.
• Customs declaration and departure preparation: handle export customs declaration formalities, submit accompanying documents, follow up departure information in real time, and visualize the transportation trajectory through GPS.
4. International transportation:
• Monitoring on the way: the goods cross the border on the China-Russia train, and the transportation dynamics are continuously monitored through the logistics tracking system during the period.
• Arrival notification: when the train approaches the destination, confirm the flight information and notify the agent in the destination country in advance to prepare for the delivery.
• Customs clearance and pick-up preparation: after the train arrives, cooperate with the local agent to check and prepare customs clearance documents in time, obtain the necessary release ATB (Arrival Time Declaration), so that the goods can be picked up at the station.
• Unpacking and inspection: the local agent abroad completes the unpacking operation in time, checks the status of the goods, and notifies the consignee to pick up or make an appointment for delivery service after confirming that there is no damage.
• Delivery arrangement: according to the consignee's address, optimize the route to arrange the delivery service to ensure on-time delivery.
In order to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of LCL goods on the China-Russia train, the entire process involves close cooperation and meticulous operation of multiple links at home and abroad. From the consignment letter to the final delivery of the goods to the customer at the Russian destination, every step is crucial.
