Consolidation and transportation services from China to Russia
With consolidation, your smaller cargo is combined with shipments from other businesses into a single full container. You pay only for the space you use, which is significantly cheaper than booking an entire container. Logistics companies manage this by picking up cargo from multiple suppliers, warehousing it in China, and then packing it together for shipment
Or perhaps your own goods can fill an entire container, but you have a dozen or more suppliers, and you need a warehouse to consolidate all the goods before shipping them out in a single container.

Warehouse storage + consolidation:
Phase 1: Warehouse Receiving and Data Verification
When your goods arrive at the consolidation warehouse, the process begins with a thorough receiving inspection. The purpose is to verify that the goods match expectations and to collect accurate data for subsequent steps.
Information Handover: The warehouse team will receive a detailed cargo handling order. This order contains the following key information:
Basic Identification Information: Customer number, product name, total quantity.
Destination Information: The final receiving address within Russia (e.g., Moscow, or specific markets such as Sadovod, Rubiolino, etc.).
Packaging Requirements: Any special instructions, such as whether wooden crates or waterproof packaging are required.
Special Services: Information such as customs documentation requirements or insurance value.
Physical Inspection and Data Verification: The warehouse team will open and inspect the goods according to the provided list.
The length, width, height, and weight of the goods will be remeasured. A key industry practice is that the data remeasured by the warehouse is considered the final and binding data for calculating freight charges. This step aims to prevent billing disputes and ensure accuracy.
When the goods arrive, please take photos of their condition for record-keeping.
Phase Two: Repackaging and Reinforcement
Based on the information from the previous phase, prepare for long-distance transport of goods. Different types of goods require different levels of protection.
Custom Packaging: The warehouse team selects and applies appropriate packaging methods:
Basic Packaging: Use stretch film or waterproof membrane for dust and moisture protection.
Corner Protection: Add cardboard or plastic corner protectors to prevent crushing or breakage.
Palletizing: Secure the goods to wooden pallets. This is standard practice for most LCL shipments because it facilitates forklift handling and provides stable support.
Crate Making: For fragile, heavy, or high-value items, custom-made crates may be the best option. For example, during the transport of a fragile crystal chandelier, we added an extra wooden crate to ensure safe transport.
Verification and Recording: After repackaging, warehouse staff typically conduct a final check of the integrity and overall dimensions of the packaging, sometimes documenting the process with photographs so you have a complete understanding of the situation.
Full Truck or Container Loading:
This is where the expertise of a logistics provider is most critical, especially for Less-than-Container-Load (LCL) shipments.
Planning the Load: A loading plan is created before a single box is moved. This plan considers:
Order of Destination: Cargo that needs to be unloaded first should be loaded last, so it is near the container doors.
Weight Distribution: Heavy items are placed at the bottom and evenly distributed to keep the container's center of gravity low and centered. Preventing "partial loading" (all weight on one side) is crucial for rail transport safety .
Cargo Compatibility: Items that could damage each other (e.g., chemicals near food) are segregated.
The Loading Process: Professional loaders carry out the plan, carefully stacking and arranging the cargo.
Securing the Cargo (Bracing and Dunnage): Once all cargo is inside the container, it must be secured to prevent it from shifting during transit. This is done using:
Straps and Lashing Belts: To tie cargo to the container's built-in anchor points.
Airbags (Dunnage Bags): Inflatable bags placed between gaps in the cargo to fill empty spaces and absorb shock from sudden stops.
Wooden Bracing: Custom-cut wooden beams are nailed or wedged against the cargo to lock it in place .
