Rail transport

Shippers who transport goods by rail should handle the consignment at the railway freight business station and sign a cargo transportation contract with the railway transportation department. The freight transportation of the whole truck must be proposed for the quarterly, semi-annual, annual or longer period of the whole truck bulk cargo transportation contract. For orders, other whole-cargo goods are transported by the whole-vehicle cargo transportation order, and the goods waybill must be submitted when delivering the goods; the cargo waybill is the transportation contract for the less-than-carload and containerized goods, and the freight transportation order and the goods waybill are provided by the railway station.

What is rail freight insured transportation:

Insured value is the guaranteed value of the goods, that is, the declared freight price. Insured transportation is a component of the railway cargo transportation contract. After the railway implements the limit compensation, it is a kind of law that guarantees the equal interests of the shipper and the carrier. right. When consigning goods, the shipper can request for insured transportation and pay the specified insured fee on a voluntary basis. The carrier shall implement special management and take certain protective measures for the insured goods during the transportation. When the goods are lost due to the carrier’s liability during the transportation, the carrier shall compensate in accordance with the relevant provisions of the insured transportation.

How is the railway freight rate formulated and how to calculate the railway freight:

The freight rate of railway goods is formulated by the Ministry of Railways and reported to the State Council for approval. The procedure for calculating railway freight is: 1. Calculate the transportation mileage from the departure station to the destination station, 2. Correctly find the freight rate number of the transported goods, 3. What goods cannot be consigned as a 'batch':
